5 Reasons "The Godchild" is Bigger Than "The Avengers"

1. BIG POWERS. Yes, the Avengers have some of the most powerful superheros and The Godchild is just one 12 year old boy, but this boy has a little thing called “power over time and space”. Lets see Iron Man fly his way out of time...let alone space. While Thor has a nice hammer that captures lightning, The Godchild controls the WEATHER. Yup. No lightning, no hammer sparkles. And while Loki can do a lame multi-projection of himself, The Godchild can actually BI-LOCATE. We're talking miraculous stuff. The Archer dude and the karate chick will be spending their time in an exhausting game of whackamole trying to paste the boy. And oh, Captain America would never, ever fight a kid. Just sayin.

2. BIG HEAVY HITTERS. Yes, the Hulk is a favorite of mine, but when it comes time to throw down, the Godchild has his secret weapon too. The Godmother. And you don't even want to know her powers. In the end, she'd wind up curing the Hulk with her mega powers and then you'd just have nice mannered Bruce Banner. And no sequel.

3. BIG WRITER/DIRECTORS. Philip Spink, (The Godchild )is a pretty big guy 6'2, 250. Massive. Josh Whedan (Avengers) looks like he comes in at a buck seventy, buck eighty. The scales don't lie.

4. BIG CREW. I'm a huge fan of many of the behind the army of camera talent on the Avengers. But, The Godchild went with lighting by GOD. Of course, He's a bit of a pain on certain days... and you have to wait for him, but no one can compete with the Big guy when it comes to the big scenes. (Credits include Lawrence of Arabia, Braveheart, Out of Africa) And he only used one light.
And he's cheap.

5. BIG DEAL. Avengers is hovering around $15 bucks to see in 3D – not including babysitters or the overpriced popcorn. Well, it's worth it. Great film all around. But - you can watch The Godchild right now for just $2.99 in the comfort of your home or office by renting it online at thegodchild.com- 'nuff sed.
