A sought after motivational speaker, Dr. Ruppenthal has presented workshops to thousands of people worldwide and been a meditation consultant for churches and businesses. Dr. Ruppenthal has appeared as a guest on TV and radio, including Michael Tom's New Dimensions, Phil Reeder's KHJ Midmorning Show in Los Angeles, Dr. Art Ulene's syndicated health programs, Seeing Beyond on KEST San Francisco, Crustbusting on KKNW Seattle, and has been a regular guest and meditation consultant on Rosemary Broccoli's Living in the Moment, on Ch. 26 Seattle. On the internet, Dr. Ruppenthal's interviews have appeared in the Buddhist section of Beliefnet.com and on Rediff.com, the web portion of India Abroad. He has also been interviewed by the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. Dr. Ruppenthal is a former teacher and lecturer at major universities and lived in residence with Eknath Easwaran, one of the 20th century's major teachers of meditation, for thirty years.
